Honey West - What the editor said is correct, but confusing. Brothers was the last one they shot in its entirety (the last one filmed.). But it was originally supposed to be 18, rather than 17 For some reason, the powers that be switched the order of airing.. The one that is now 18 was also shot in its entirety because it was shot before Brothers. Nineteen is the only one they didn't finish the regular way.

BREAKING NEWS: Renewed for Season 8, as most suspected.
It better be - they can't possibly wrap up all the mythology in 3 already packaged/prepared episodes. . . .
Good for Spader to do 80% of a decade on 1 single TV show . . . .

Anyone seen this on FACEBOOK?
The Blacklist is going to be more animated than usual. The season finale will feature a hybrid of live-action and graphic novel-style animation when it airs Friday, May 15 at 8/7c on NBC.

RedIsMyCoPilot - I think it sounds intriguing. At least it's not finger puppets.

I agree... I am interested to see how it plays out. They get points from me for a creative solution.

Hey, it sounds great to me! We get to enjoy the story without putting as many people at risk: voice-overs and computer animations can be done from home offices. Might there be some rough spots? Sure, but this is all a new way of working. I'm for anything that keeps people safe!

There are links to some interviews and such in the Spoilers section for both 7.18 and 7.19.

They could have done the rest of the episodes like that if they wanted.
Tuxie, JB did say he would do a puppet show if he had to. So I'm ok with this. Better than nothing. I can't wait to see how it turned out.

Tommy Markin -
The "Brothers" episode is not the first time this name has appeared on the Blacklist.
Ressler knew Laurel Hitchin was involved with Reven Wright's disappearance when Laurel's curiosity about the name "Tommy Markin" made her ask Ressler. Donald had not told anyone about Markin - except Reven Wright.

Nice to hear from you Trelliswires! I remember that. I think we were hoping to hear more about that. I know I was.
Iowawatcher, I am contemplating my dessert for tomorrow night! 😁

Hello TBL friends
Sorry I've been MIA for a while. We started our lock down on March 13th, my husband had just got home from travelling through multiple, very busy airports, and then the school shut down so I have 12 year old twins, about to be 13, hanging out in the house all the time.
Plus, up until a few days ago we didn't have live tv, so we just got kind of caught up with the episodes but we should be able to watch tonight!
I don't know about you folks, but I kind of enjoyed this episode and I loved how they developed the story between the two brothers.

Hey, Tatiana! We were worried about you! Glad to hear things are okay. I read something the other day where someone said "hey, does anybody remember that the last "normal" day we had was Friday the 13th?"
Tonight's episode is supposed to be quite dark, so it was nice to have one that was a bit more up last week. If you can call a 25 year old killing and Albanian mobsters uplifting. LOL!
