KathyN, I think your right that Cooper suspects it is real Red.

Wow! What an episode! The shootout at Dom's place is one of the best I've seen on tv. Cort Hessler directing is a bless for this show! The acting was amazing too, especially Red, Katarina and Dom. Definitely one of my favourite episodes so far.Â
It seems like we'll see Mila and Steinhil back sometime. I feel like Mila is dr. Nik's replacement in the show and Steinhil might be used to trap Katarina at some point. Katarina's comment about having her family back almost makes me believe Red is gonna take her to Kirk at some point in time too.
One thing I found odd about this episode is that Dom's last name is apparently Rostov. I always thought Katarina's last name was Rostova because she married Constantin. Does this mean that they are all related, or that all names or false or that Dom and Constantin just happened to have the same last name? It's definitely a confusing fact to me, which I hope will be resolved someday.Â

KathyN - Yoiu and I are of like minds on this Katerina not being Dom's daughter. And you did pick up on some of the Redarina clues. I thought there were a lot. Unlike you, I didn't care for Red telling Liz off, but I did forgive him because he was so distraught over Dom. My belief is Liz wouldn't have been asking those questions if Red would have just told her the truth at some point. So I think Red is ultimately at fault for what has transpired. I know that I'm in the minority of fans with this view.Â
The Yeti - This episode was so much better than Part 1, but I can't say it's in my top favorites. I agree the acting by Spader, Laila and Dennehy was mesmerizing. I just wish I really knew what all the cryptic dialog meant.Â

TheYeti, yes, I wondered about that Rostov comment, too. I always figured she was Rostova because she married Rostov and that's the way Russian names work. But Red lumped them all as the Rostov family. heh, maybe they are all part of a Rostov crime Family, and part of the Russian Mafia. But I've always figured that Dom's real Russian last name was probably not Rostov.
And I agree, Tuxie400, while Liz may be responsible for the immediate danger with her questions, the blame ultimately falls on Red for not "telling her the truth", as so many have told him to do. But I think that after The Caretaker, he decided that it was either too late, or just not possible to tell her the truth.

I am 100% with you on this Tuxie. When Dom risked everything as he and the others hid below the floorboards and shouted, "GO TO HELL" I just had to think this was not the Papa that loved his daughter so much.Â

What I did not think made and sense about the name Rostov, was they had been saying his last name was Wilkinson. ,Then all of a sudden Red tells her he is a Rostov and they will want to ask him questions??? How would anyone know? I hope they ask that question also in their next interview. Â
I am also in the same boat that this is not all on Liz. I can hardly believe she hasn't chained him to a boat for months until he answers her questions. Lol.Â
It is just unrealistic for me to think anyone can have someone come into their life and expect them to wonder about anything. Tell her everything she knows about herself is a lie, but do not ask any questions. Just except it and go on about your day as usual. And he promised her after that shotgun wedding that he would tell her and he did not.Â
I know he looks after her, but he has to because he has brought a lot of drama into her life.Â

Yep!
And I am leaning more towards there being a Rostov Family, as in Russian Mafia type of thing.
