Re: More Season 7 Stuff

Now this is interesting from John Eisendrath:

"Season 7 on 'The Blacklist' is our version of 'This Is Us.' "

I don't watch TIU so now I'm really curious.

Re: More Season 7 Stuff

I saw this on Aly's site today.  It's from an interview in Parade.Another new interview with Jon and John“The goal of season 7 is to dramatize the battle between Katarina and Red, to raise the question of who is going to win that battle, and to put Liz squarely in the middle between Katarina and Red,” executive producer John Eisendrath told Parade.com in this exclusive interview. It wasn’t that long ago that Liz had come to terms with Red. Her attitude toward him had mellowed, and now, going into season 7, she thinks she might lose him.“The arrival of Katarina Rostova is going to make season 7 the kind of family drama that will put Liz in between her parental figures and force her to decide who to trust more, Katarina or Red,” Eisendrath continues. “And so even though she comes into the season feeling pretty good about Red, Katarina is going to do her level best to raise the question of whether Liz can trust Reddington.”

Re: More Season 7 Stuff

Hi everyone!!! It’s been awhile since I’ve been on the board.

I’m looking forward to tomorrow night and getting to know Katarina and how she will fit into the puzzle (other than mama and lover). Will she be able and welcomed to play grandma to Agnes and daughter to Dom? Idk and can’t wait to find out!!!

Super excited Dembe’s path led him back to Red! ❤️

Looking forward to catching up with everyone.

Re: More Season 7 Stuff

Thanks for posting that Tuxie.
I've recently watched a few episodes I hadn't in a long time, The Forecaster for one, and found it very insightful. Made me want to watch season 7 right away!
Speaking of which, our antenna reception isn't so good when it's rainy and windy and currently Wisconsin has been going through a 9 month bout of rainy and windy....so I may not be able to comment until Saturday morning. I keep telling myself I cannot justify $60 a month for cable but gosh I am soooooo tempted...

Re: More Season 7 Stuff

What Bokenkamp told The Wrap about the upcoming Cooper episode.

TheWrap: Is the rest of the team willing to keep Red’s identity secret now that they know the truth?
Bokenkamp: I think Cooper is the wild card here. He’s a man of integrity. He knows what the right thing to do is and it’s his responsibility to do it. However, we have a big story about Harold Cooper in the coming weeks that will tell us more than we’ve ever known about him — how he became the man he is today — and that story will influence his decision about what to do with Reddington in a big way.

“I am exactly who I am. And I can assure you, I’m a far more interesting Raymond Reddington than Raymond Reddington ever was."
