Eastcoast, air-popped popcorn and "real" A&W root beer (from a friend who went to one of the last A&Ws in this area).
Great show tonight! It ended too soon.
Wow! The president's wife has . . . RED HAIR! Was that our sighting of KR? LOL!

That was a nail biter! I LOVED when James Spader broke the fourth wall and started talking about the suspense and intensity of the show!

Great ep - not a ton of revelations BUT a superb set-up for the season finale!
Only 1 question - have they forgotten about Old Dom? Or Sister Frantic (Lizzie's sis)
I expect Dembe performs a cameo in the season-ender!

BBB, I was wondering if Dom and Jennifer will be back?
IW, Sounds Awesome!!!!
So, Diaz is in the dark, being double crossed. Imagine that! I guess Red will save him and he will owe him again! Lol
Did anyone catch that Anna said Red was the Bane of their existence?

I think Anna could be KR's daughter, certainly from a different father than Kirk or RR.

It was a great episode, but I really wanted to see what Red had in mind for Anna to get rid of her...

Eek! That would give Liz another half-sister!

That was a turny twisty episode!
Red didn’t seem to be mad at Liz anymore. I wonder why?
So McMahon is framing the Task Force. I think she’s also using them as bait to get Red out into the open.
So why would Diaz be trying to commit suicide and become a martyr? Do powers have too much on him for him to continue? Or is he even a willing participant in all this?
Anyway, great setup for the finale.

HW, I had the impression Diaz thinks there is a different plan and that is why they told him they found it. I might have it wrong.
I've been wondering what the plan is that he thinks they have?

Amazing episode! I love all the parallels with the Cabal plot from seasons 2 and 3.
- There is a plot against America to kill a high-ranking official. In season 2 it was a senator, now the president.
- Presidential advisor McMahon takes over the role of former presidential advisor Laurel Hitchin.
- After Karakurt, Moreau is another international assassin involved in the conspiracy.
- Instead of Liz, Red will probably be framed for the assassination.
- The task force seems to be falling apart again.
This finale will probably be one of the most disruptive yet. I'm excited for next week!

Those are some good parallels, Yeti! I didn't think of any of those.

BBB - It was a setup episode for the finale. It's not clear to me whose double crossing whom. Is Anna MMahon the bad guy, or is the president? Something about those two is very twisty. My favorite part was Red talking to Liz about her mother.

Maybe the plan told to the President is a near death assassination attempt, he'll survive and will be a hero, re-election etc. If you think those presidents of USA that have actually been killed, they are thought only well and considered some sort of heroic people?

All sides point to Anna McMahon as a 'bad guy' character - - - - - the saving grace TV-wise is they're trying too hard to put her over as a big bad; her associate, the grim-faced no-emotion killer is killing far too many innocents to be considered anything but a big bad - - - the president could go either way in this drama. At one point it appears he was in with McMahon - now, not so much!
Like the idea, if he's beyond reproach, Red & The Team saving him at the last minute - after being superficially shot - and then his popularity percolates like never before. McMahon & Senor Greasy are either erased, sentenced to big time or die in battle with Ressler, Aram, Red, Dembe, Harold, Liz, etc. Hoping Dembe gets the killshot on either/both Senor Greasy & McMahon.

There's several possibilities:
1) Kingmaker, in that episode the politician purposefully had a car accident and he was supposed to save his wife and child from the river and look the hero, except that his wife died. Is it possible Diaz is supposed to save his wife?
2) Way bigger than BIG: yeah, maybe there's an assassination attempt, but the guys who saw the dossier were terrified of it, sounded like all the branches of government were going to take over and America as we know it would be no more
3) Cabal like Power - who? we don't know. Is there one or several countries involved?
4) I think the first lady wants her husband to take down Raymond Reddington. And I think Raymond Reddington, despite the wreckage which is his criminal empire, has good intentions. He sees the hypocrisy of government and knows the government is just as infiltrated with corruption, just as criminal as the criminals and all the good guys, families, elderly, sick, no one is looking out for them.
The war is between Reddington and government corruption
5) Will the Task Force finally go rogue?
