Do you mean endgame as in killing Red? I'm not thinking endgame - at least not as this point. The next two-parter still holds the promise of getting a new immunity agreement.

I mean Series. It seems a bit sluggish to me this go-around.

I thought it was even more sluggish last year with dem bones.

Iowa Watcher - Yes, the prison/courtroom stuff was getting old. But I think the next two episodes will be good. Red will be getting moved to the federal prison in Terre Haute for his execution.
I predict Red's escape will be during the actual execution.
Can u spell POWER FAILURE?
Executed & delivered by Aram & Co. - no rats, dogs or wardens will be stripped of their dignity during the filming of this episode!
On the other hand - if the show is wrapping up its last season - then 80% chance Reddington executed . . . .

BBB said, "If the show is wrapping up its last season - then 80% chance Reddington executed."
But the previews for next week show Red in the death chamber, and there are 11 more episodes after that. I don't think he will be executed.
Your idea of a power failure and Aram's participation remind me of The Architect episode. Who knows? This show does love its parallels.

11 more episodes? Well, maybe it'll pick up more oomph!

I do believe Red will be administering some form of penalty to Sima Leung - and his mute assistant!!! lol
I would be surprised if he didn't at least pop up behind him at some point and say Boo!

BBB, a power failure would be awesome! I am thinking that Liz is able to get him a pardon.
I agree that this jail thing has gotten old. Really time to wrap it up. Sigh....
Tuxie, dem bones were getting old too. They just drag stuff out way too long.
IW, sorry you were out of wine, but at least you had your popcorn. :-)
A bit fast for the execution, but I guess they have a schedule to stick to. lol

55+ yrs of watching network TV dramas - but I've never heard the following words:
"Someone strip the warden - any takers?"

HA! That's another place I've been to, Terre Haute, not the prison. It's Anytown, Midwest, or a much cleaner version of Peoria (IL).
(Terre Haute is something like ten or twenty miles from the IL state line. That area is basically farms, small one-horse towns, and several larger cities.)

I'm originally from Illinois and went to school at U of I Champaign. I really love it when they do 'real' America as opposed to Hollywood. I wonder if that's because Jon Bokenkamp is from and still lives in Nebraska.

Being originally from Indiana, I'm well acquainted with Terre Haute. I have several friends who live there.

Tuxie, post 31, I just could not resist that. lol
I did want to mention before I head off to lala land, (try to) that I enjoyed Aram in the field again. May I say, it is not a good idea to raise a gun towards Samar! That moment really surprised me. I really didn't expect him to shoot the guy so fast.

Eastcoast - I think Aram surprised himself by shooting Mr. Crypto so quickly.

I listened to the podcast while ago. (GSM) They mentioned a few things that I meant to mention here and forgot. Did anyone else find it odd that the guy (Matt) was in the post office?

As much as I want to blame Liz for Red's failed escape plan, I can't. She was concerned and didn't know. There I said it! Even when I'm still like . But seriously, what a clever way to escape right down to the hair clippings. So close Red!!!
Dembe still wanting to carry Red to "freedom" even with a field full of armed men, pulled at the heart strings. His eyes were so focused on Red.
Aram really had a standout episode this week! I was happy he got another big story line. Sometimes I think Red is the only 'task force member' that recognizes Aram's true value and dedication to the team. Without his knowledge there would be so many cases that flop. He's tender and caring and getting better at defending, just needs to work on the aftermath.
Samar's comment about letting Reddington know they are there was a nice touch. It's easy to forget she's there because of him.
I'm thinking we are going to see another faked death like Liz's after childbirth with task force involvement (they all know they have done unspeakable things; so why not add this to their list). OR at the final hour, this Cairo person will be found and whatever information that is needed will come out right as Red is about to be injected.
But I do worry, then what? What is the show from there? Does Liz still care who this man was before RR and why he's here today? Do we go back to Blacklister of the week (btw I'm on board with this!).

Was Matt the father/CEO of the pacemaker company? I didn't catch his name.
Now that you mention it, they don't typically/if ever bring anyone in there.........

Yes Patter. Matt was the father.
I don't blame Liz either. A case of bad timing.
I'm thinking either a pardon or fake death. I do have to wonder why they have not thought of creating a double?
They have Sinclair on call.
