I'm looking forward to seeing how Red's escape attempt turns out tonight. Talk to you all later!

Thanks so much for setting us up, TuxieÂ
I cannot wait to see what's going to happen... you just never know with Raymond Reddington!

Well, we've got more medical equipment - the pacemaker.

So Sima intends to give Red the death penalty one way or another. Either by jury or by Red's criminal peers.

I do believe Red will be administering some form of penalty to Sima Leung - and his mute assistant!!! lol

BBB - Is the assistant even in this episode? I hadn't noticed.

Well Liz looked a little teary eyed when she told Cooper that Red had pleaded guilty. I don't think she thought it would ever go this far. It's nice that she offered to give her impact statement to the court, considering she was the one responsible for him being in this situation.

ENDURING - what a wonderful word . . . . !!!

Liz's statement on the stand - Meghan Boone's best acting yet . . .Â

Yes, both weird and funny!

Red was touched by Liz's profile, abd I agree it was some of Megan Boone's best acting. Poor Liz, she didn't mean to thwart his escape. It was accidental.
I never thought I'd actually hear the pronouncement of Red getting the death penalty. That was chilling.

Episode could just as easily been called:
"Best laid plans of mice & death penalty super-criminals!"
It was a very good episode - but few (if any) clues or resolutions provided
Offline
or
"Of Micey Wardens & Doped Up Dogs!"

BBB - I guess this was the set-up episode for the next two.

Yes, definitely the set-up - and set-ups can be supreme fun. No threat of plot twist, no major character additions or losses, tons of pure fun and wonderful acting.
Thought the unintentional all-star of this ep was the head of the company providing the service for heart patients. Wonderful actor, excellent work in a more than tiny role! The judge lady has grown on me - she's very staunch and stood up well to both Reddington & Sima. I'd take her over that Trumpian flunkie Judge T.S. Ellis. (T.S. stands for Trump Stooge btw)
Now back to your regular non-political programming!!! lol

It was popcorn and a half glass of Pepsi tonight. I've got to go wine shopping. Friends and I drank my last bottle during the last snowstorm.
I liked parts of tonight's episode. The faraday cage was pretty cool, and seeing Dembe fly a chopper was great!
I agree with BBB: nothing was really resolved.
I was looking forward to Red escaping. I'm a bit weary of the prison stuff.
Honey West, I hope you had a good trip to NYC! You visited at a cold and snowy time, but no matter how cold it was, I can promise you that it was colder in Iowa, if that's any comfort. Today it was in the 30s and sunny, first really good melting day in a long time. I have 11" of snow in my front yard, unusual for this last in March.

Iowa Watcher - Yes, the prison/courtroom stuff was getting old. But I think the next two episodes will be good. Red will be getting moved to the federal prison in Terre Haute for his execution.
