I'm thinking that given Kirk's state of mind, just about the only thing that would have had Kirk just give up and walk away, sparing Red would be that Katarina was still alive. Sounds like the only thing that would give him a reason to live. Red says he's just gone - cryptic as usual! LOL

On the EW Blacklist site, an interview with the producers says Liz gets lots of her questions answered in this episode. I don't think so! WE got some (maybe) true answers, but she wasn't there. We don't yet know why someone (Red?) took her away, although it has something to do with the fulcrum. We don't yet know about fire night, and who Liz might have shot. So lots more to come!

It was a lot better than I expected! I agree: I think Red lied to Kirk about Liz being his daughter.
Yes, I think KR is alive. That's why Red got him talking about her.
No previews for Redemption on my local channel. Maybe someone will kindly post it in the links when it becomes available.
It's going to be a long wait until January 5. )-: Added: there was a promo for the next Blacklist and the announcer said Jan. 5

Iowa Watcher - yes, good point. He wanted Constatin to start remembering Katarina and re-live how he felt about her. Our Red is always quick thinking under pressure! Talk about thinking on your feet (sort of!!!)
