Red knew he had betrayed him the first time and to make it up he was supposed to tell him when one of the Nash guys were there but instead he told Garvey. Red made the right call not trusting him by having the guy go in first. Garvey was there instead.

I loved the reveal that Dr. Fulton is another monster chasing monsters. Seeing Liz embrace her true nature was chilling, and the idea that she’s building her own special skills team intrigues me. Dark Liz is full of twisted surprises. I can’t wait for the break to be over!
I love Dark Liz. I've been waiting for this girl for a long time. I can't wait to see her continue to accept herself and start creating her own crew. I imagine this is how Red got started while he was still Naval Intelligence.

A final thought before I head to bed: have Garvey's intentions changed for the bones since before he killed Tom and now? I know he could have been lying to Tom when he talked about the bones holding power over Red (they do to a degree, I suppose, but Red doesn't seem concerned), but now he's talking about wanting the whole truth. I wonder if he has learned more stuff in the interim and that has changed his trajectory? Could Garvey be related to the bones? I keep feeling like it's being teased that Red should know him somehow. Maybe it isn't. Who knows.

Brittany - It seemed to me Garvey expected Red to know who he was. And he's talking about wanting the whole truth. That seemed like he has a personal investment in those bones to me. He might not have been telling Tom the truth about his objective.
Could Garvey be a relative of Katarina’s? A younger brother? We never heard about her mother. Perhaps she took a young Ian and fled to the states while KR stayed behind with Dom (perhaps she’s was being groomed for KGB or something)? Ian wants to find his sister after she disappears and gets into law enforcement and watches CODIS for her DNA to show up?

Or what if he's RR's brother, and he wants to know what really happened to him and why Red is masquerading as his bro? The possibilities are endless. We'll just have to wait and see.

Well, it could be both. The bones could give Garvey power over Red - what he will use to get the truth, whatever it is he is after.
I still think it would be a scream if Garvey turns out to be the real RR, but I doubt that's the case, for lots of reasons. But it is fun to think about.
I agree, at this point, he could be anyone. we really haven't been given any hints at all as to who he might be, other than the ring, if that is not a misdirect. Still that's not a clue as to who he might be, rather, that he might be connected to Red (or the "real" Red) or fire night.
Hey a thought just occurred to me. Suppose he thinks Red is the real Red (if Red isn't) and that leads to a huge twist. Really though at this point I think the field is wide open as to who he might be. But I agree, it sounds as though Red should know who he is (and why doesn't he know? heheh )
