I can't believe this Blacklister's name is Anna-Gracia. This will be the sixth character this season named either Ana or Anna. Is this building up to someone major named Anna (like the body in the suitcase), or is this Blacklister the major Anna?
In Greyson Blaise we had two: Analia Beneventi, the owner of the Lake Como villa and Anna Cartwright, Blaise's girlfriend.
In the Endling, there was Ana Dewan, the golden blood Nirah kidnapped from Princess Sofia.
Ana Elazar was the little girl Dembe helped in the Kilgannon Corp.
Anna Hopkins was the redhead saved from being buried alive in the Invisible Hand.

Right? Enough with the An(n)as! I knew there have been at least a couple others. That’s insane, Tuxie.

I wonder if Aram will propose to Samar? Or at least think about it. Awww.

I was thinking when i saw it, another Ann/Anna? Are there not other names? Lol
Honey West, I am wondering that too!! 😉

Ana-Gracia means Anna Grace. Remember Grace was the name Liz used when she lived in Alaska.
I don't remember but I thought some of you said Grace the name had been used before

Is this the unidentified man laying on the floor in the hotel room with a fedora while Reddington stands over him with a gun? I think we may have a clue to the mystery here.
Or not.
By the way, the spoiler photos for this episode show Reddington in the hotel, I believe there are 4 photos altogether. The first two he is sitting in a chair. The second two photos he is up and about. They are from two different times, note the tie and shirt pattern. In the second time in the hotel, he is wearing a striped shirt.
Just tbought I'd point it out.

That is really interesting, Tuxie400. I had picked up on Anna Hopkins and Ana with the golden blood, but not the others. I made a comment at the time but can't recall what it was. LOL. I wonder what it means. There are some neat coincidences with Anna Karenina, which among other things has a Constantin wanting to marry a princess "Kitty" Ekaterina; a princess "Dolly" and a princess Elisabeth. I think its just a neat connection though, not sure it means anything, unless again (because of the names in the side plot, including "Dolly") we are steering into fire night territory.
And I wonder whether we will get a mini-cliffhanger this week.

Oh yes and the connection with "Grace" of course. That is also a cool connection

lara1 - Interesting connections with Anna Karenina. I don't know much about that book.

"Anna Karenina"
Anna Karenina, the wife of a Russian imperial minister, creates a high-society scandal by an affair with Count Vronsky, a dashing cavalry officer in 19th-century St. Petersburg. Anna's husband, Alexei, offers her a difficult choice: Go into exile with Vronsky but never see her young son again, or remain with her family and abide by the rules of discretion.
Anna decides to kill herself because she mistakenly believes it is the only escape from her unhappy life, specifically in regards to her marital and family woes. None of the viable options, i.e. fleeing, divorcing seem to offer her freedom. Only after it is too late, and she is already falling to her death, does she realize that she made a mistake.

Tatiana - Thanks for the additional info on the latest entry in Red's Book Club. We really ought to have a thread called that. I looked Anna Karenina up, and found the epigraph for the book is, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay. " That seems like a Blacklist theme. In addition to what you posted, I also noticed that Anna became morphine dependent - another character susceptible to opiates. And part of Anna's lover's name is Kirillovich - sort of remind me of Krilov, and there has been a Kiril somewhere in the Blacklist.

I also wondered if Aram might be considering a proposal.
I just hope they amp things up and keep the last few episodes really intense and interesting, not just the final cliffhanger. This storyline with the suitcase and Garvey has been stretched out over an entire season so we need some good stuff for our patience.
And yes we are also seeing the Grace connection with this name. I’m interested to see what goes down with Red and Garvey in 5.16 since Red thinks he has evidence to bring Garvey down in 17.

I was thinking that too Brittany. I am wondering if there will be a close call and he decides to pop the Q!
They have some photos from this episode.
Red is cooking...be still my heart. I wonder what he's cooking.

Thanks for the link, Brittany!

Like in Kenyon, if memory serves correct. The episode also with the creepy dolls hanging from trees. And of course the presidential limo.
