I wonder if they would try to get more seasons picked up on Netflix or something if they don’t get renewed. But it’s pretty early for anyone to be getting renewal information yet. Most aren’t announced until the spring.

Tuxie400 - thanks for this! I had not seen it. What is most interesting to me, actually, is that they even ran a story like this. The question was also raised on the Blacklist Exposed podcast (which I really enjoyed), which I also found interesting. Back to the article, reading it, it seems like they are confident where they are going with the story.

Yes, most shows don't find out if they are renewed until later in the winter or spring. I think when they are cancelled, they will try to wrap up Red's story and any mysteries left. Once they do that, I don't think the show will have future elsewhere.

Tuxie400 - I agree, I think that once they reach the final season, they will try to wrap it up, and if they do that, I don't think it will re-appear elsewhere. Because if they do wrap it up, there will be no place for it to go - once the final secret is out....(LOL) I took the article as something positive. Just my take on it, obviously.

My take on the article was positive too. From this article and the podcast, Bokenkamp is confirming that they have a plan for Season 6. And I'm very excited that he thinks the cliffhanger for this season will be the biggest one ever.
