Oh my god. That was intense! Did anyone else tear up when Red rescued her? Father? Mother? Whoever. It was an amazing moment.

I wrote that before that intense scene. I wasn't expecting so much in one scene. Wow!

OMG that was intense.  So now its a year later that means its 2018.  As Red had a paper dated nov 7 2017 last year.  Strange.

Re: Episode 5.08 - Ian Garvey - Discussion Page

I teared up at the Romeo and Juliet moment in the backseat of Red's car.

OMG! I can't believe they really killed off Tom Keen.

And  seeing the same breathing apparatus on Liz as in Solomon Part II made me very emotional too.

Did anyone catch how Dumb held Red's hand?  In that moment I thought Rederina.  not sure why.  It was unlike Dembe has acted before.

Re: Episode 5.08 - Ian Garvey - Discussion Page

Tuxie400 - yes it was very powerful.  I teared up probably for the first time watching the show.  The performances were amazing.

I don't think its a fake death because of the way they showed it in grainy black and white and being wheeled into the morgue - the FBI was there not Red's men as far as I could see.  It would be a real stretch with Cooper in on it.

Re: Episode 5.08 - Ian Garvey - Discussion Page

Omg....I'm still weeping!  I was 100% certain tom would be killed off (Ryan Eggold's career is booming) but the everything.. .the beautiful wedding, how they fought for each other, then as they whisper to one another, knowing death is near.. . It's going to take a while to get over this.

Well we have til January. Lots to talk about.

Re: Episode 5.08 - Ian Garvey - Discussion Page

I loved this episode.  Somehow I’m okay with not getting suitcase info this episode.  And I love the time jump.  I was hoping they would do it.  I’ll post more thoughts in a little bit.

Re: Episode 5.08 - Ian Garvey - Discussion Page

What was so important that Tom had to see Liz right away?

And remember, the bad guys have the bones and the DNA report.

Oh my gosh. I want to see this again right away!

Watching on PVR - will weigh in when completed - noticed my favourite lip balm featured at the convenience store. CARMEX - IN A TUBE. Wonderful for chapped or dry lips. My only product recommendation thus far on TBLR . . .  lol

Brittany, I agree. I like the time jump. A lot will have changed in that time.

Re: Episode 5.08 - Ian Garvey - Discussion Page

It was so touching when Dembe held Red's hand. That didn't make me think Redarina. Actually I thought Redarina when the info came out that Red had been at the first wedding. It reminded me of Katarina's diary and wondering who her daughter would marry.

Tatiana - Tom had the bones and the DNA report in his black bag when he called Liz. But Ian Garvey took them after he assaulted Tom and Liz in the apartment.

Ha! I didn't catch that! Did you know Carmax is made in Franklin Wisconsin just outside of Milwaukee? Just another reason to be a proud Wisconsinite 😁
