Non-Spoilery Season 5 Stuff

Was just checking Twitter and the Brandon's say they are the writers of 5.05. And it will be a big one.
Directed by Kurt Kuenne.
According to Brandon Margolis:
"I'm not one for bias or hyperbole, but this gonna be bigger than every game 7 of every sport put together."

Thanks HoneyWest - didn't Kurt also direct Artax, with the Dom/Red encounter.  I might be mis-remembering that.  Either way I look forward to it for sure!

I have to write this somewhere . . . I'm not happy about TBL starting at 7 pm Central. Unless they are getting rid of a lot of the violence, this is very early for an intense show of this type. I hope this is just a temporary time slot. It really needs to be later in the evening, in my opinion.

I agree, Iowa. I thought it was too early when they first moved it to Thursdays at 9 pm. (8pm your time). Unless they are toning down the violence this season, which, I suppose, is possible.

Re: Non-Spoilery Season 5 Stuff

Yes, it really should be a 10 pm EST show (9 for us), which is better. At 7:00, there are still a lot of youngsters tuned in. I know, parents should be monitoring, but many don't.

Okay, off my soapbox, but that bothers me a lot. I don't like violence, but it's part of the nature of that show, like Red's hat.  :-)

I personally hate that early time for Blacklist. But NBC set a precendent by having Blindspot, also a show with regular violence, in that timeslot last year. NBC doesn't hesitate to broadcast violence early and often.

Re: Non-Spoilery Season 5 Stuff

For me the additional issue is that I won't always be home in time to tune in live.  Lots of people work late.  I expect I'll be viewing several days later at least some of the time.
