I think that's kind of too bad, because he was an interesting character. Maybe he will be back?

I saw the tweet earlier this week. I will miss the Gale character. I thought he would continue his relentless pursuit of Reddington, and might be pivotal in the Ressler/Hitchin storyline.

I saw that, too. I was disappointed because we need some kind of 'closure' for his weird insertion into Ressler's life, don't you think?
The thought also crossed my mind that they had to kick him off because the actor for 'Tom' will return. This is what makes it soapy. Ah well.
