Kate ("Kat" seems to truly have 9 lives!

So the FBI would have captured Kate if not for his interference!  too much of a wild card.
I wonder where his story will lead in the finale.

And is he (Gale) on someone's payroll?  How does he have authority to take someone out in the middle of an FBI raid that he's not involved in?

Other question is how could a professional "killer" like Julian Gale miss a shot from that range???

SUPERB ACTING. His clumsy English makes it all the more believable!

That really was a fantastic scene! You can see the depth of their commitment to one another and to whatever goal they might have.

yeah... that was interesting. I feel like I"m taking mind-altering drugs when I watch this show sometime. Or maybe it's like "Young Frankenstein" where Quasimodo's hump keeps changing. Ha!

Well, yes, I do believe it was (as I also remarked when it was over)

He seems the most sensible right now. The voice of reason between two squabbling relations!

Gale is very emotional. What was the inference when we first met him? He had been out of the force for a while because of ... and it's never specified. Seems like maybe he broke down for a little bit and needed a 'vacay' from his work?

How did Gale manage to miss Reddington when he had him in his cross hairs? He had an appropriate firearm.

Gale got lucky on two counts. When Kate delivered a hockey rink full of corpses he was like a pig in poop. Then he found and used Dim Donald to get to Red.

Yes, Gale is being driven by something - but what is it?  I think its more than just they didn't get Reddington during his task force time.

He is another person obsessed!

And that's the second time in the past few episodes where the line "There's nothing you can do to make me change my mind" has been used.  Some truth is out there.   Leading up to something big in the finale I'm sure!

Re: Episode 4.20 - The Debt Collector - Discussion Page

I liked that Red was trying to get a truce with Kate and wanted them to co-exist. But she is hellbent on destroying him. I'm with Dembe now. She has to be stopped.

My favorite part of the episode was Kate going undercover as substitute teacher and threatening that bully at gunpoint. She's just so badass now! I also liked the Samar browsing the Debt Collector's little shop of horrors. Red and Dembe's heart to heart talk in steerage was excellent too.

Re: Episode 4.20 - The Debt Collector - Discussion Page

Can someone enlighten me as to the name of the actor playing 'The Debt Collector"?

He strongly reminded me of 'Clarence Boddicker' (Kurtwood Smith), though I am sure that was NOT him.

Tuxie400 - agree!  Plus, I was genuinely surprised by the twists.  Several of us (including me LOL) speculated last week that Red was the one setting up the kidnapping (foreshadowed by the Hans story)  BUT it was done so cleverly that I didn't think that anymore virtually until Red walked into the cabin.  Then the Gale thing - also out of nowhere.

Very good episode!

Re: Episode 4.20 - The Debt Collector - Discussion Page

OK so now I am wondering if there is going to be a mega twist next week.  Like, Kate is not really Kate.  Why else are there so many inconsistencies between what we see and hear transpire "in person" between Kate and Red and those "kate memories".  Why did she not have a  scar and now has a scar?

It would be totally wild if she was Katarina all of this time (Red put "Liz" (or is she Liz, LOL) into Katarina's arms all those years ago, not Kate's.  And Katarina then hired Kate.)

Maybe not, but my brain is going to be in overdrive between now and next week!  LOL

Re: Episode 4.20 - The Debt Collector - Discussion Page

Tuxie400 - I would also add the scene where Red comes out of the cabin and faces Kate for the first time since he shot her.  The look on his face - Spader was fantastic.  And then their conversation.  very good
