Why does Kate have shrink wrapped body parts in her trailer? Also, Nicosia in Texas. Isn't that who had Agnes after Cuba?

LD Jones - I think it's something to do with Red. somebody killed and buried in that wall, maybe.

Ep. 2 going totally different direction - no Elise, Aram, Dembe, Mountain Man (dec.), Post Office, etc. Just a group of new actors carrying the episode, wonderfully I might add!

Yes, Nikos in Texas gave them the lead to find Mato and Agnes

The metal plate is clue #1 in why Red didn't get the job done re: killing kate!

She would always put Liz's needs above Red's.

OK so Kaplan's priority is Liz, what we were thinking. Liz above Red.

OK so I think Kate has become a bit......demented.

All those bodies on ice! How is Red going to get out of that one? But it will implicate her as an accomplice.

Well, that was 'fun' - in a Nancy Sinatra 'These Boots' kinda way!
Kudos to the actress who played Young Kate - even the Annie Kaplan character was highly believable!

The way they had the younger actress play her, it appears she was somewhat demented from the start...

So - its still not confirmed that Red is Liz's father, right?
So what we've been told so far, we mostly had figured out - so now its confirmed.
But Red's mystery is still under wraps. good.

If I were Red I'd be using Lizzy to turn her away - or reduce the threat substantially!

LD Jones - yes, that is very true! Makes me think she'd just as well become an enabler to a serial killer!
Although I think she did also have feelings for Katerina....

Yes the bodies on ice. So Kate has spent all of this time driving around in her ancient trailer digging up everyone that she hid. Or as Red says, she's "been busy"! LOL

So Red says he became a criminal to set up an organization that would protect Liz from the forces who were after her mother. That would fit with him just being in Naval intelligence earlier. I didn't totally get the dialogue in the scene that was lifted from the pilot. Did Newton (?) or Red say something about Red being FBI?

For someone of her age and in her condition she's quite strong to be digging deep and hauling out body parts!

So I have to think this through some more, but so far:
Liz did not shoot her mother, Katerina survived and was not shot
It was Katerina who rescued Liz from the fire, not Red.
Kaplan took Liz to Sam, Kaplan was not in fire house.
Red did take Liz away from Katerina.
Katerina did go to the beach and "disappear".
I found Kate's background a bit normal - though she showed an interest in cadavers at an early age - no Navy background, no spy stuff. I guess Red or somehow he employed taught her all the firearms stuff

LD Jones - I didn't hear any FBI comment, only something like, He'll be OK he's with the FBI now. But i cold have mis-heard that. Good point - they don't seem to be worried about him. Need to re-listen.
