Thanks, Tatiana! I am happy to see they don't think Blacklist will be cancelled. I really think the looming possibility of a WGA strike is holding up a lot of decisions or announcements.

I think you're right, Honey West. I really think this is one of the best written shows out there for network tv (non-cable/Netflix). Let's hope things go well for all parties and we can get back on track quickly!

Thanks Tatiana. I'm out and about today so haven't been checking in on websites and articles.
Having seen the spoilers earlier this morning, im coming to think more than before that they are doing a 180 and setting up a new direction of sorts for next season. I could be wrong, of course.
And I'm thinking that logically, it would not have made sense to announce anything re renewals prior to the finale of Redemption. It's not like they were going to pull it after the first few episodes. Just my own thoughts. 🙂

Here's another "prediction" for TBL and Redemption. Not so hot on Redemption, TBL seems to be a shoe in.

Cancel Bear has The Blacklist as probable renewal status now.

more good news - and merchandise is starting to trickle into the NBC store. New drinking glasses, and the Reddington inspired watch (just launching today apparently so not on the online store yet)

Lara - I saw that tweet with Amir! You know what else???
Jon Bokenkamp has sent out two tweets in the past 22 hours! He hasn't used Twitter since November 10, 2016!!

Yes, that is a good sign. Now that Redemption is over and Blacklist is just about wrapped (last week of filming I believe), he may have more time. but yes that is good!
Maybe we will get more good news soon!

We won't know about cancellation/renewal until May 15th (?) as per Jon Bokenkamp yesterday at the conference in Chicago. He seemed positive, but remember JB is paid to spin.

Good to know, Tatiana. I had wondered if he said anything yesterday. Sadly, the overnight ratings hit an all time series low for Requiem, but were even for Dembe Zumba.

I tried to watch the video they posted of the session, but got an error message both on the BL site and the Tbl Exposed site. I hope its working when i next go to view it.

lara1 - I think the Facebook live streaming is only available live and for a couple hours after it ends. I watched it yesterday about an hour after it ended in real time.

Thanks Tuxie400. I did try a couple of times late yesterday afternoon. Maybe it was my ipad settings but i was able to get other stuff. Oh well
Anything worth sharing do you think or just the usual type of fan questions? I would have liked to see Susan, i heard she subbed for Harry who could not make it.

I was surprised that both Amir and Susan seemed so much like their characters personality-wise. Susan said being on The Blacklist was educational because she had learned so much about acting from watching and acting with Spader. She is originally from Chicago and her delivery was very deadpan - just like Kaplan's. She did say being the bad guy and Blacklister is exciting and an interesting acting challenge. She also knew Joanna Adler from both auditioning for the same shows and thought she did an excellent job portraying Young Kaplan. I can't really remember much more of what she said.
Amir was hysterical! He is prone to being long-winded, over-explanatory and very funny. He told a very long story to explain why there was a bong and beer cans on Aram's coffee table in 4.16. He also had a long, funny story about Aram's relationships with Samar and Janet. He recently convinced the showrunners that the right pet for Aram would be a turtle and not a cat via a two-page email. Amir also talked about ad libbing in WuJing, which led to recurring BL role as being the miracle of his life.
Bokenkamp said there's no pickup yet for the show, but he's not worried. He again said word would come right before the Up Fronts in May.

Oh, I remembered something else Bokenkamp said.
One of the audience questions was, "So no has heard of a blood test?
Of course there was laughter all around and JB replied, "How do you know she (Liz) hasn't already done one and knows the results?" Then he said, "Stay tuned."

I've been able to access the Blacklist Exposed video several times (right now, in fact). Maybe try this:

Ha! I've been thinking that for quite some time now. She stopped pestering him for information quite awhile ago and after the Alexander Kirk situation she seemed to me to go into a sort of watch and wait thing with Red. She has seemed more like she is studying him and biding her time than anything else. She no longer gets mad and goes off in a huff after he gives her another non-answer, and she seems to have stopped asking him about some things. I am sure she knows something one way or the other. Whatever she found out from Linus Creel, she has added to it. And that's why she is now studying him, for lack of a better word for it. She won't tell him what she knows unless she is forced to use it on him, and that situation hasn't come up yet.

I'm full of theories today (or full of something )
I think she knows that Red is her father. She is studying him to find out what he wants and how he 'works'. She also knows that Raymond has said many, many times, to know your father would be death to you. If that's the case, then she cannot admit to Red that she knows he is her father.
But, she can work with him, she can be with him, she can get to know him.
