Supposedly there is a character in this one named Bogdan Krilov who's a memory specialist, according to Cartermatt.

Yes, here is the description from spoilertv.
"THE BLACKLIST"
"DR. BOGDAN KRILOV"
05/04/2017 (10:00PM - 11:00PM) (Thursday) : Red (James Spader) sets the Task Force on the trail of a Blacklister with the tools to manipulate memories, causing Liz (Megan Boone) to question her own experiences. As Gale (Enrique Murciano) intensifies his investigation, Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) receives a new lead on the disappearance of Justice Department official Reven Wright. Christine Lahti and Gloria Reuben guest star.

HW - we have two 4.19 threads running... I literally just posted this on the other one at the same time

I hope Ressler's not walking into a trap. Set by Hitchen.
Wasn't Gloria Reuben Dr. Orchard? More memory stuff. I wonder if Krilov is the one who manipulated Liz's memories, or maybe even Red's?

LOL! I just got home from work and was taking a few minutes to look at stuff. I check spoilertv quite often these days.

Well, I am just hoping this is not the run-up to the series finale. Business Insider had an article about the 18 shows most likely to be cancelled this season and both BLs were on it.

It could be that Dr. Orchard is called in to help with something Kirov has done, or helps to explain the process or something.
I wonder what the other (new) FBI guy is investigating?

HW - Yes it does look like they are throwing in a lot of stuff. I think its to throw the series back on track, a dramatic change (which I think it needs) - I feel like they are doing a 180 or maybe even a 360, based on what I have seen thus far. Its feeling much more like the "old" series, maybe even as menacing.
I also think if you follow that article, it would seem then that NBC wouldn't be renewing anything else except for the Chicago franchise, which can't be the case either, I don't think. We'll see.

1) I deleted the second thread, there was not much substance to it anyway;
2) Yes, Gloria Reuben is the memory doctor. Interesting, that Dr. Krilov (I presume, doctor) has a bodyguard. Now why would a nice memory doctor need that?;
3) Honey West, I had that same sinking feeling you have - it sounds like they're wrapping it all up. What's left if we find out what 'happened' and Liz gets access to her memories?
Good grief, I just started googling 'erasing memories' to see if it was even a thing and went off into goo-gaa-gle la-la land...and an indepth article from the American Psychological Association!

I will just throw something out there, the introduction of someone who can alter memories - well maybe it does not necessarily lead to Liz finding out her "real" memories, maybe just throwing some more tension/questions into the mix. Maybe Dr. Orchard appears because Liz seeks her out again with more questions after finding out about what this Dr. Kirov does in terms of process. Kirov may or may not have been involved in changing Liz's memories.
And there is still the open question as to whether Red has had his memories altered - so maybe we are going to get a lot of clues on which way any of that could have gone.
Tatiana - yes, I did at one point google memory replacement, erasing etc - and got totally bogged down in all sorts of stuff! LOL.

My take on some of the photos is that it looks like Ressler gets quite a knock on the head at some point. Maybe it is actually his memory that they need to access? That would be different.

So in either a promo or photo, I can't remember which, there is one that shows two of the corpses next to each other under a light as if they are maybe the two most important ones. Diane Fowler is one, but I can't figure who the other, wearing dark clothing, was? If anyone can think of who that might be, give a shout out.

From EW - Jon Bokenkamp:
Red’s not the only one who’s got secrets that are about to come spilling out now that the Feds have been tipped off about the bodies. “I feel like I’m repeating myself, but in a show about secrets, Cooper definitely has a very big secret that we’re going to be unpacking before the end of the year,” EP Jon Bokenkamp says. “That will change the trajectory of the show in a way. He’s got an ace that he’s holding.”

We know he has something going on! His thing with Red in Kuwait cant't the only thing. Red waited specifically for him on surrender day for a reason.
What I really hope is that this is pointing to a season five in order to tell all the rest of these stories.

My thoughts exactly. I've rewatched the pilot several times in the past few weeks and Harold and Liz were specifically selected. Why, I don't know.

You Tube video spoiler of next week's episode, Dr. Bogdan Krilov
Personally, I think they would have two finales, one for if they get renewed and one for if they get cancelled.

That's what I've been thinking lately, too.

Yes, I think a lot of buried secrets are going to be excavated, as well as those bodies.
There have been a few "buried" references around again : Cooper: What have you dug up on Dembe? Kaplan: is going to bury Red, and so on, I caught a couple more, not including the actual bodies buried across these last 3 episodes.
Some of us have long thought that Cooper has a secret and is not all that he seems. It will be interesting to find out what may be up with him. JB's words are interesting: he has an ace that he's holding. At the same time its a very big secret. So does he play that ace (cards again) to save himself, save the Task Force, save Red, destroy Red etc., we don't know. really interesting.

I'm excited about this next episode. Let's hope we get some memories we can count on from it.
As for Cooper's secret, it must be something big, if it's an Ace he's holding.
