As I was writing up my little summery of the episode tonight for my personal notes, I thought maybe I should add it here just for a reference, 
There may be things we can use to help us with the TBL. 

The Blacklist Redemption,


1, Pilot,
Leland Bray,

Tom gets a call from his fathers lawyer and goes to NY to find it was his father who called.  He tells him he has been looking for him a long time and told him things about his past.  He found out that The plane had been tampered with and used it to his advantage. He says his mother tried to have him killed. He wants her to continue to think he is dead. He says there is some sort of bigger plot for her to try to gain control of his company. Tom meets his father and sees a lot of stuff on a wall where his father has been trying to track him. The name Whitehall is on the wall which is a name used on TBL of a chemical weapons company. .
A woman and her son are kidnapped. SH finds Tom to work for her ot help find her. He works with Solomon to get them back.  He offers to work for her if the offer still stands and she tells him he can start the next day. .


2, Kevin Jensen,
A man is kiddnapped and is in a prison in Kyrkistan accused of treason and it is a childhood friend of Toms.  So SH sends Tom, Nez and Solomon to get him out.  She finds out in the end that he is really under cover CIA as accused and was posing as a journalist. SH watches a home movie at the end of Kevin's BD party with Christopher in it. There are also 2 girls at the party around the age of Liz and bubble girl.


3, Independence, usa,

A make believe Town in Russia that is a replica of America where everyone is trained to be american to replace another american that they murder and fit into society.
Sh sends Nez and Tom on the inside to get information.
SH digs into Howards past and finds out he had hired someone to look for their son. Howard wants to know what Tom found when he went on the mission to Russia that he had some knowledge of and had set up.
Howard tells Tom that he thinks they murdered his mother after she had a car accident and she was replaced with this woman to take control of his company.




4, Operation Davenport,

A small group of terrorists escape from a Black Site Prison in NY.
SH sends Tom and Nez in on this one and sends Solomon out to spy
on Tom to see what he is up to.
The prisoner who escapes is trying to prove he is innocent and set up.
Trevor seams to have taken a liking to Kat and is slyly moving in on her and even reveals his real name to her.
SH tells Kat she wanted to see Trevor but he had another appointment.
The appointment is with Kat and She cancells her appointment with him so SH
can see him.
SH meets with a couple who are pretending to be the Phelps. They show her a picture
and she says it is not him. Looks like the investigator knows Howard is alive and they set her up
with a fake couple. Tom meets with his dad and learns about this.
Howard is pushing the issue of Whitehall and that Tom must find out about this.
 He found out a few years ago that SH exchanges coded messages with them and is a part of the Companys budget.  It is a warehouse in a remote area of south Africa that Howard knows nothing about.  A possible Black Op in his own operation.  He sent team there but it was cleaned out. He hired a agent who dissapeared when he was supposed to meet with Howard. It was right after this that she tried to push Howard out of the company.


5, Borealis, 

 A plane is hijacked and Tom and Solomon are planted on the plane and are able to keep the plane from crashing.  Solomon unfortunately is able to grab ahold of one of the hijackers who is wearing a parachute before being sucked out of the plane.
SH meanwhile is getting more than comfy with Trevor and actually mentions Whitehall to him. She asks what his weekly rate is and since he does not have one she says make one. Kat delivers to him a burner phone, and papers to sign that he cannot disclose anything they talk about.

Tom's dad asks him to break into the SH safe of so he can decifer the codes.  When Tom finds out it is a comic book he no longer believes Howard and says he is going to tell her the truth and Howard says he will get them both killed.  Tom goes to SH to tell her the truth and happens to look down and see the comic book that his dad was using and quickly changes his mind.  He decides to decifer it and finds it is the name of the street his dad is on and when he gets there Solomon is there putting him into a car.
The preview shows that he destroyed the apartment and SH is torchering him for who he has been taking to.



6, Hostages,

A family is kiddnapped and in order to get hem back they want someone in exchange that they think the FBI has locked up but who really wanted out and they gave him a new identity.

In the meantime, Howard is in a hospitol being kept under gaurd under going shock treatments via orders of SH the grieving widow who has loved and missed him so much. (no time for Trevor this week)
 Tom goes to Nez and tells her HH is alive and needs their help. Tom wants her to find out where he is being kept.  He makes a failed attempt to rescue him and he tries to resist because he does not want Tom to blow his cover.  He calls him dad for the first time.
SH finds out that it was Tom who was his ally and orders Solomon to take him out.  We see a very cold side of Sh emerge making me think right away that it is no wonder she makes Reds toes curl!
She goes to Howard and tells him what she is doing with Tom.
Howards only choice is to tells her it is her son and she must call the hit off.
 He knows if she is the real SH she will call it off and if she is really a sleeper she must call it off not to tip anyone.


7, Whitehall,

Tom and Liz visit for a few. Tom tells her of his dads location to see if the FBI can get him out.
SH tells Solomon that Tom is her son. Solomon immediatly goes to work acting
as if he feels sorry for her with a parable and convinces her she should try to cut him out of her life.
Kat is next seen with MR. Toy Boy saying she is running late.
He says he looked at her phone because she got a message, she says it must end soon.
Later on we see that the phones were switched, one does not have to wonder how that happened...
SH next confronts Tom that she knows who he is and he has broke her heart.
Mommy dearest who has been missing her long lost perfect baby boy for so long questions him about
what he knows about Whitehall but does not believe him when he says he does not know anything and sends him off with Solomon to get a confession beat out of him.
Tom of course turns the tables and breaks out of Solomons hold.
SH and Tom end up in a ugly face off and Tom gets away. 
Cooper shows up to the hospital to have Howard released.
Liz meets Howard for the first time and seamed mesmerized by the possbility of having a real family member.
Tom and his dad meet up to break into the system to find out where Whitehall has been moved to.
Whitehall is a man being held against his will who has cracked a code.
Nez changes teams and decides to help Howard and Tom.
HH makes a smart move anouncing to the world he is alive.


8, Whitehall Conclusion,

Howard goes to a board meeting to see if he can get control of his company back.
While he is at the meeting they have a plan to break WHitehall out with the help of some friends
aka the drug dealers Nez was getting her fix from.
SH wins the vote to stay in charge which leads HH to lock down the board room which in turn
brings Solomon to the rescue. He shoots the glass wall out and tells her that her chariot has arrived.
Her and Solomon go and get Whitehall and tell him it is not safe and they have to leave.
Now SH is the one being persued. Her and Solomon comandeer a vehicle as Tom and Nez
close in. SH and Solomon are out of bullets but the dont know that, but Whitehall does goes running to them
saying don't shoot leaving SH with a very bewildered look on her face.
Tom eventually finds and pins SH and the police come in to arrest her.  She keeps trying to say she has been framed. 
She tells Tom he must know that she loved him because of the way she had spoken to him about her son.
I think that it might have been more believable had she not had Solomon beat him with a sock filled with pool balls! 
Kat is questioned by police and through this she realizes something and goes to confront Trever alone which was not a smart thing to do.
She realizes that it is he who made transactions at the times he had access to her stuff and is working with Howard. 
He stabs her with an ice pic  and says some terrrible things t her and she is able to grab something and bashes his head in.
And once again Tom is on the phone with Liz planing to come home saying what could possibly go wrong
and Kat knocks on the door covered in blood and gives him the computer stick and tells him its the truth, that it was him.
So Howard and Whitehall were working together all along.  They had set up SH, Tom and the whole gang!
The last thing we see is Scotty sitting in Jail...
