Eastcoast - LOL, I never thought of that. Maybe he is in on the plan with Howard, and Howard had him call Tom in order to get tom to NY

Lara1,
The other point I meant to mention Besides the fact that neither Tom or our FBI agent Liz picked up on
the fact that Tom gets a call from his fathers lawyer when they all think he is dead /murdered,
why did she say,
'Tom, in the last three weeks since your father died,
you have been obsessing over who he was and why he
and your mother gave you up.'
Gave him up? They know someone confessed to his murder.
I wish that TPTB could explain these things to us!!

LOL! eastcoast, I wondered about that, too. Why didn't Liz ask how the lawyer knew where to find Tom?

eastcoast - nice to be hearing from you!
Good catch on that, I missed it. (I lower the volume on my TV after 10PM as my living room adjoins the bedroom of the next apt., and I do that just as a courtesty so the TV isn't too loud, but LOL I do miss some stuff. I guess I will need to re-watch it!)
You know, didn't Tom also say the same thing (his mother abandoned him) in one of the recent TBL episodes too, and we were like What? its interesting that they have picked up that thread again in the new show, which may have some new viewers too. hmmm. thanks for that

Lara1 #64, maybe Tom only feels like she abandoned him, since they eventually gave up looking for him? A sense of abandonment, perhaps?

Honey West - could be.
In this episode, Tom tells Scottie that his mother died when he was young. I'm not sure if he was telling the truth but if he was, and his mother did die (Mrs. Phelps), is that how the plan for Christopher/tom first went awry? If someone deliberately took him to keep hims "safe" and gave him to someone else, but the plan went wrong somehow after his adoptive mother died.
Just something to ponder.
