Right when Red said something about being stabbed in the back, they showed Dembe sitting behind him in the dark.

BUT - we still don't know the mystery why and how Red locked everyone in the kitchen, kidnapped the woman, drove to that house, broke into Marvin's apt., etc.......
Did Red poison himself? but why is Dembe running and where to? argh

Like Red, I have trouble believing Dembe would do this to him. And no preview for TB!!!

Tuxie400 - my theory is someone with knowledge of and access to the flat put the poison in the bottle....
Maybe Dembe is going after that person......

It doesn't look good for Dembe. He gave Red the liquor, and he disappeared. But Kaplan would also know Red's medical history and how to access his accounts. Liquor aside, maybe Dembe is getting the hint that Kaplan is around and he's gone underground to look for her? I hate to think he tried to kill Red.

LD Jones - I agree. I think the cat at the beginning was a clue....that Kaplan is around.
I didn't want it to be her, but its looking more and more that way. I don't think anyone else could have known his medical history. I think she snuck into the flat - easy as she already had access - and poisoned the scotch. She may not have counted on Dembe pouring it, because Red is usually seen pouring his own liquor.
If it was Dembe, he would not have driven Red to the ICU and organized it. I think he has put two and two together and has gone off to investigate.
The remaining question is whether Kaplan is working alone, or with/on behalf of someone else....
Edited to add: the scene of Dembe disappearing into the night in NY with his hood up reminded me of when Red did that after Anslo Garrick in Season 1.....

I am so confused that I don't even know where to begin.
It doesn't make sense for Dembe to have poisoned Red. I agree that it's probably a set-up of some kind.
Does Red have a "twin" or does his mind get taken over and he acts without knowing he has acted? If the latter, by whom?
Yes, I'll re-watch the episode when I've had a lot more sleep.

Yes - agree - that was not explained. So either Red has a forgotten twin who has come back, the "real" Reddington has come back, or Red's mind is slipping and his other "identity" has come out (some others have suggested a kind of split personality, I'm thinking his former identity which has been repressed, by mind control of some sort and its unravelling)
